Cosmic Energies 19 January - 16 February 2026

A new moon happens when the sun and the moon come together at the same degree of a sign. Looking up from Earth, they appear in the same spot. This so-called conjunction sets the tone for the entire lunar cycle ahead. This time, we step into the earthy, mature realm of Capricorn, where responsibility, leadership, integrity and long-term vision set the theme for the month.

This month has something truly historic to offer: The end of a 164-year-old cycle and the ignition of an entirely new evolutionary chapter. Also, as the final lunar cycle before the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse begins, endings and beginnings are woven together. The cosmos is asking us to take radical responsibility for our lives, our visions and the future we are actively building.

New Moon - The Starting Point

19 January 2026, 29° Capricorn, 02:52 ICT, Cambodia Time

This New Moon arrives at the final degree of Capricorn, the anaretic degree, where urgency meets mastery. Something wants to be completed so something new can emerge with full clarity and strength.

The Sun and the Moon are joined by Mercury and Mars, supported by Uranus and Neptune/Saturn:

This constellation is here to help us turn intention (Sun & Moon = the seed) into ambition (Capricorn) through strategic planning (Mercury) and aligned action (Mars). Yes, that makes it four (!) personal planets joining forces to provide discipline, focus and stamina.

This is fertile ground for conscious creation.

And here comes the aligned cherry on top: It is all harmoniously supported by Saturn & Neptune (manifesting our dreams into form) and Uranus (going new ways). Dreams can become very real now, if we are willing to commit.

Another important layer of this New Moon is Lilith sextile Pluto and Venus, marking a turning point in the collective feminine awakening. The rising power of the Feminine can no longer be ignored, softened or silenced. Truth, sovereignty and embodied wisdom demand space, both personally and collectively. This does not concern women alone, but all those who have been marginalized and suppressed by patriarchal systems, including children, people of color, and LGBTQ+ communities.

This New Moon asks one clear question:

  • What are you willing to take full responsibility for now?

Practical tips for this New Moon cycle:

  • Write one crystal-clear intention that you are willing to commit to long-term

  • Break it down into realistic, aligned action steps

  • Place the written intention on your altar or bury it in the earth so it can grow

  • Take one aligned action within 24 hours of the New Moon

  • Ground daily through walking, offline-time or breathwork

  • Create structure before seeking expansion

Oh, and do not be surprised if manifestation accelerates. Already one day after the new moon, the Sun, the moon and Mercury move into Aquarius, shifting the energy from planning into rapid activation.

Unfolding - Throughout the Month

The expansive sextile from Lilith to Pluto stays super active the whole cycle: after Venus, also Mercury, the Sun and Mars will conjunct Pluto and bring the power imbalances in truth, justice and equality to the spotlight. With Lilith in Sagittarius and Pluto in Aquarius, themes of fairness, ethical truth and new power structures rise into collective awareness.

Lilith demands honesty, moral clarity and justice, while Pluto in Aquarius reshapes collective systems from the roots up. All personal planets getting involved makes this a lived, embodied process rather than an abstract idea.

20 January 2026

Sun and Mercury enter Aquarius

The focus shifts from personal responsibility to collective vision. After grounding our intentions in Capricorn, the Aquarian energy asks us how our path serves the greater whole. Innovation, community and future-oriented thinking come into focus. The mind speeds up. Conversations turn toward change, reform and new solutions. Ideas become unconventional and progressive. Stay grounded so insight does not become mental overload.

23 January 2026

Mars enters Aquarius

Sun & Mercury conjunct Pluto, 3° Aquarius

From 23 January to 6 February, five planets move through Aquarius. Speed increases. Change accelerates. Expect the unexpected, sudden plot twists, unconventional solutions and new ways of working together. Community, freedom and grassroots movements gain momentum. Power shifts upward from the base rather than downward from authority. The air smells like revolution, encouraging collaboration, innovation and collective intelligence.

On a personal level, this can feel like a sudden internal awakening, clarity on where we still give our power away, and reclaiming our independence and freedom. Collectively, this constellation might create social movements, political revelations and rapid shifts in collective narratives.

Tip: Ground the nervous system. Drink water. Breathe slowly. Power is reclaimed through presence, not force.

27 January 2026

Neptune enters Aries

This is one of the most important shifts of our lifetime. After 164 years, Neptune enters Aries, beginning an entirely new evolutionary cycle. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, the cosmic creation, the spark of life, courage and initiation. So with Neptune starting a new 164-year-long adventure through the zodiac wheel, humanity enters a new timeline, the next level in the spiral of evolution.

The dreamy, creative, compassionate and peaceful Neptune is being empowered by the bold Aries energy until 2039. It calls us to stand up for our beliefs while handling conflicts peacefully. This is the time for the visionaries, the spiritual pioneers and peaceful warriors, courageously paving new ways (Aries) for peace, compassion, and for the highest good of all (Neptune).

28 January 2026

Mars conjunct Pluto 3° Aquarius

This is raw transformative force. Will meets power. Used consciously, this is revolutionary energy capable of dismantling corrupt systems and initiating profound change. Unconsciously, it can manifest as power struggles or explosive conflict.

Conscious direction is essential!

02 February 2026

Full Moon, 13° Leo, 05:09 am, ICT Cambodia Time

This is the third Full Moon of the rare 13° Portal. Five Full Moons in a row occur at the same degree, forming a powerful initiation sequence of purification and embodiment.

The Leo Full Moon represents the stage of action. After grounding the body, clearing the mind and healing the emotions in the previous full moons, Leo calls for heart-centered courage and authentic self-expression.

This is the moment to be seen. To create. To lead from the heart.

Reflection prompt:

What part of me is ready to be visible without apology?

04 February 2026

Uranus turns direct 27° Taurus

Change takes up speed. Cosmic tailwind for plot twists, sudden insights and new connections. Moving through the last degrees of Taurus, Uranus is likely to shake Mother Earth (earthquakes, volcanoes and floods possible), our values and resources (traditional finance systems crumbling or collapsing to make space for new, fast technologies, especially when Uranus enters Gemini in April).

05 February 2026

Mercury square Uranus 27° Aquarius/Taurus

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.

Both Mercury and Uranus are connected to the nervous system, and this tense aspect can cause overstimulation, restlessness and impulsive reactions. Thoughts race ahead of the body. Accidents happen when presence is lost.

This constellation also affects technology, electricity and virtual connections. Backup your data, charge your power banks and allow extra time. On a deeper level, sudden insights can arrive, but they need grounding before action.

Practical tips: Spend time outside, reduce screen time, be extra present and mindful, avoid rushing decisions, back up data.

07 February 2026

Mercury enters Pisces

The mind softens. Logic gives way to intuition, imagination and emotional perception. Dreams, symbols and subtle communication become important. Trust inner guidance.

08 February 2026

Venus square Uranus 27° Aquarius/Taurus

Relationships, values and financial themes undergo recalibration. What feels unstable reveals where change is needed.

Reflection:

Where am I holding on out of habit rather than truth?

10 February 2026

Venus enters Pisces

Love becomes compassionate, spiritual and unconditional. Boundaries soften. Creativity and tenderness increase. This is heart-opening energy, but discernment is still needed.

14 February 2026

Saturn enters Aries

Saturn enters Aries until April 2028. Think back on last year, between June and September 2025, when Saturn already dipped its toes into Aries, before turning retrograde and moving back into Pisces to shed more skin. What new ideas and impulses came through to you around that time? Were you brave (Aries) enough to follow them? Did you have to go back and take down some of the old structures that no longer align with your new vision?

Now, as Saturn enters Aries again (but this time he's all in), it's time to take responsibility for ourselves, our (new) path, to stand by our choices and claim our sovereignty and authenticity. Saturn in Aries is embodied leadership rooted in integrity, not ego. New ways of wisely dealing with conflict and assertiveness want to be paved.

Closing Reflections

This lunar cycle marks a powerful threshold. It begins with Capricorn’s call to responsibility and unfolds toward visionary courage and collective awakening.

Major constellations involving Pluto, Neptune and Saturn reshape both personal and collective timelines.

Only if we take responsibility for ourselves, show up for ourselves and cultivate clear, healthy boundaries, can we anchor these high frequencies streaming in from the cosmos into our bodies and the Earth and lead in service of the greater good.

We are invited to step into leadership that is embodied, compassionate and grounded in truth.

Reflect and journal:

  • What am I ready to take full responsibility for now?

  • Where am I being asked to step into visible leadership?

  • What outdated power dynamics am I done participating in?

  • How can I embody courage with compassion?
