Cosmic Energies June-July 2026

A new moon happens when the sun and the moon come together at the same degree of a sign. Looking up from Earth, they appear in the same spot. This conjunction sets the tone for the entire lunar cycle ahead.

This time, we dive into Gemini territory, the realm of communication, curiosity, and mental flexibility, supported by a fixed star from the Orion constellation.

New Moon - Starting Point

This New Moon comes in conjunction with Alnilam, the middle one of three stars forming the belt of Orion. This belt is the backbone of the Orion constellation, holding the whole structure together. Germanic people saw it as the spindle of the Goddess Frigg, Queen of the Gods. Alnilam, the middle star of the belt and center of Orion as a whole, holds a special quality:

Single pointed focus.

Connecting with this single pointed focus can cultivate strength, energy, a sharp mind, excellent memory, great organizational skills, public recognition and according to traditional astrologers like Ptolemy can even lead to great honour and fame.

Alnilam coming hand in hand with this new moon amplifies the mental Gemini qualities of the lunar cycle. It's a great opportunity to articulate our goals, substantiate our plans and take aligned action toward our dreams. The usual Gemini restlessness can settle into something more deliberate. The scattered mind becomes a laser. The curiosity that never lands finally chooses one direction and follows it all the way.

At the same time, Lilith in Sagittarius opposes the New Moon. Common truths and old belief systems are being challenged. Lilith is here to expand our consciousness, shatter outdated thought patterns and connect us to our individual truth, so we can take another step toward raw, unfiltered authenticity.

Chiron enters Taurus until 18 September 2026

Chiron, the wounded healer, is dipping his toes into Taurus for a few months. This is just a preview. He will then go back into Aries during his retrograde phase to make sure we really integrated the healings he brought there. The final and permanent move into Taurus happens on 14 April 2027. He will then stay in Taurus until 2034.

So these first months are a taste of what wants to be healed over the next seven years.

In Taurus, healing becomes practical, body-related, and sensory. Our relationship with food might need to change. What are we feeding our bodies and souls with? How is our nourishment being sourced? How are we treating Mother Earth? Also watch for old wounds around self-worth and material security rising - tending them with compassion instead of desperately trying to fix them is the real medicine here.

New healing methods around light, frequency, and touch will move into the spotlight. Grounding becomes more important than ever.

Tip: Slow down in nature and let the Earth hold you. The warrior times are over.

Cancer asks for emotional security, tenderness, and roots. Both provide, protect, and initiate. The square to Neptune might bring confusion and lack of direction. The medicine is to bring balance between doing and being, between holding space and holding responsibility.

This conjunction is a spark of revolution. Mental breakthroughs, sudden insights, and the need to break free can be liberating - if handled with care. Take extra care of your nervous system these days, breathe before you speak, go for a run rather than on a verbal rampage. Holding your single pointed focus and channeling the rebellious energy into something constructive is true mastery. Oh, and back up your data and charge your devices - tech glitches and power cuts are possible with all that excess power running wild (Uranus = electricity, Mars = energy)!

On a collective level, Mars activates the harmonious triangle of the 3 collective planets Pluto (transformation), Neptune (spirituality) and Uranus (innovation), who have all settled in their new signs by now and bundle their forces to assist us in creating new political, societal and spiritual structures.

This is one of the major constellations of this decade, effective for several years, but reaching its highest density now until mid 2027.

While the old world has been making so much noise collapsing in these past years, the new world has been forming, growing and developing. Quietly, because busy, organizing, focused.
