Cosmic Energies February-March 2026

A new moon happens when the sun and the moon come together at the same degree of a sign. Looking up from Earth, they appear in the same spot. This so-called conjunction sets the tone for the entire lunar cycle ahead. This new moon brings a whole lot of new beginnings:

• A new lunar cycle in the revolutionary realm of Aquarius, where innovation, awakening, community and future-oriented thinking set the tone for the month

• A new eclipse season, starting with an annular solar eclipse in Aquarius

• A new lunar year - the year of the Fire Horse.

  
  

The universe invites us to align courage with compassion, action with intuition and individuality with collective responsibility.

  STARTING POINT

Happy New Year! Welcome to the year of the Fire Horse, where awakening, movement, action and rapid change dominate the collective field.

Last year was the year of the wood snake (shedding skin, letting go) and a 9-year in numerology. Completion. We were all invited to close certain chapters, end cycles, reflect, clear Karma and let go. This year is a year 10: 1 representing the Individual, the Self, the Ego, and 0 representing the Infinite, Source, God, etc. So this year is not just a fresh start and personal growth, but a whole new level up the spiral path of evolution. It's the year of Co-Creation.

All the things we released and let go of last year cleared the path to align us with our divine purpose. We're done with the grinding, the hustling and chasing. The year 10 means we're ready to step into our true calling, allowing Source to work through us. Allowing us to serve this ascension of humanity in the highest good for all beings, not only ourselves. Combined with the energy of the Fire Horse (fast pace, passion, freedom), we'd better ground, breathe and slow down whenever we can, because this year brings something I have never seen before in astrology:

Spiritual evolution in super pursuit mode.

The New Moon in Aquarius comes with a solar eclipse and therefore has a deep karmic character. Eclipses always come in pairs (new and full moon) and happen when the full or new moon is close to the lunar nodes. These lunar nodes are not physical objects in the sky, but intersection points where the moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic. They represent the threshold between where our soul has been (karma) and where it is evolving toward (dharma). The crossing point of our past and future.

That's why eclipses taste like destiny. 

I see them as portals for cosmic course corrections. Our job during eclipses is to be receptive to the sometimes gentle, sometimes brutal nudges the universe gives us, to (re)align us with our purpose. The square from Uranus (the ruler of Aquarius) to the New Moon & Eclipse in Aquarius, emphasises the focus on change, on the future, and on sudden insights. "Prepare" for sudden plot twists, unexpected turns and revolutionary shifts. Uranus is also connected to electricity and our nervous system, so avoid external and internal overcharging and ground, ground, ground.

On the same day as the new moon and the eclipse, Venus exactly aligns with the North Node (our purpose) in the compassionate sign of Pisces. This clearly shows us the medicine in case the Uranian/Aquarian energies become restless and chaotic: turning inward and allowing peace, empathy, poetry, spirituality, and unconditional love to take the lead.

Practical tips for this New Moon cycle:

• Ground daily through breathwork, nature connection or moving meditation

• Reduce overstimulation and screen overload

• Meditate on how you can use your unique gifts to serve the greater good

• Observe any sudden internal and external shifts

• Stay flexible. The unexpected is part of the path.

Sun enters Pisces

The general tone shifts from the intellectual to the spiritual level, inviting compassion, surrender and healing to go inward and notice what feels right, rather than analyzing what's possible. Our intuition strengthens, the need for retreat and silent time rises, and our creativity sparks.

Saturn conjunct Neptune, 1° Aries

Dissolving structures, manifesting dreams. Saturn represents our structures, our solid ground, and our boundaries. Neptune, representing our collective longing, spirituality and visions, dissolves these structures if they are outdated or not aligned with our dreams anymore.

This powerful conjunction happens every 36 years and always brings the myth (Neptune) of authority (Saturn) into the global spotlight, so we can check where we've been chasing illusions and which structures no longer match our vision.

Here are a few examples from the last 3 times Saturn and Neptune aligned:

• 1989 Capricorn - hierarchy, iron authority:

  Fall of the Berlin Wall, dissolution of the Soviet Bloc, end of the Cold War.

• 1952/53 Libra - balance of polarities, illusion of harmony:

  Death of Josef Stalin, Birth of Wladimir Putin.

• 1917 Leo - royal leadership vs mass movements:

  Monarchies dissolving, Russian Revolution - Begin of Communism as a state structure.

This time, the conjunction happens on the very first degree of Aries, the first sign and ultimate beginning of the Zodiac wheel. This means that the focus this time is on bringing completely new visions to life, on manifesting new dreams. Dreams that are rooted in authenticity, spiritual leadership, peaceful courage and embodied vulnerability.

I don't do political predictions, but since Russia was so affected by the last 3 Saturn-Neptune conjunctions, I looked at its Birth Chart and noticed that this conjunction builds a challenging square aspect to Russia's Sun (in a state's chart, the Sun represents the government). Plus, the transit Pluto (transformation of power & control) sits on Russia's natal Saturn, which might be a sign that Russia will reorganize its structures again under this constellation.

Mars Sextile Chiron, 23° Aquarius/Aries

Healing the masculine. The wounded healer Chiron in Aries in a harmonious aspect to Mars, the ruler of Aries, is a beautiful opportunity to heal old patterns of assertiveness, self-protection or anger. The wisdom of Chiron brings strength through accepting our vulnerabilities. If we take off our armor and allow ourselves to be sensitive, we are much stronger than by mercilessly pushing through.

Both "lucky" or benefic planets form a harmonious aspect in Water signs, emphasizing compassion, emotional nourishment, and united-we-stand vibes.

Time to move the mind inward. Communication in Pisces is more intuitive and subtle, and this retrograde(until 21st March 2026) is an invitation to reflect, journal, daydream, and artistic expression. To avoid misunderstandings (which are quite likely to happen during Mercury Retrogrades), communicate as clearly as possible with others.

Sun conjunct North Node, 8° Pisces

Mars square Uranus, 27° Aquarius/Taurus

This day is a powerhouse! By aligning with the North Node, (destiny, soul direction and purpose) the Sun activates a month-long square of the North Node to Lilith. Until the end of March 2026, truth, fairness, freedom and justice for minorities will be major topics. Lilith represents all those who have been marginalized and suppressed by patriarchal systems, including women, children, people of color and LGBTQ+ communities. The North Node in Pisces can bring deep healing here if we allow the truth to come up and dare to look at it.

On the same day the square from Mars to Uranus brings rebellious, disruptive energy in its purest form. Mars representing our will and ego, Uranus the rebel itself. This is a perfect day to practice mindfulness, to slow down, and breathe before we act (maybe even breathe before we think, haha).

When we're not present and calm, the overcharge of energy and drive can easily cause accidents, angry outbursts, or recklessness. So if you're feeling restless, go for a run or hit the gym to release the excessive energy from your body, because when we stay grounded, centered and focused, we can experience incredibly potent creative boosts, sudden insights and breakthroughs.
