A new moon happens when the sun and the moon come together at the same degree of a sign. Looking up from Earth, they appear in the same spot. This so-called conjunction sets the tone for the entire lunar cycle ahead. This time we step into the mystical waters of Pisces, where intuition, compassion, imagination and spiritual connection shape the theme.

This lunar cycle carries a special threshold energy. It starts at the end. The end of the zodiac wheel, at the last degrees of Pisces, right before the astrological New Year brings a whole lot of new beginnings.

The time of hoping for things to go back to normal is obviously over, once and for all. With all the ugliness happening in the world right now, it becomes clearer and clearer that there is no going back to the old ways. Not politically, not socially, not personally.

This is where our inner work becomes important. Every practice, every healing, every course, session and training led us here, to anchor the frequency of peace and love in these turbulent times of total transformation.

Holding peace within ourselves does not mean ignoring reality. It does not mean pretending that suffering is not happening. It means refusing to feed the same destructive frequency that created the conflict in the first place.

The world does not need more fear right now.

It needs more presence. More clarity. More love.

Pisces is the sign of compassion, peace, and divine unity. This New Moon comes as a much-needed reminder to keep our focus on these topics. A reminder that it's okay to feel the weight of what's happening on the planet, but to always come back home to the love frequency. This is what we build our new structures on. Love, not fear. Always love.

The last New Moon came in a square aspect to Uranus, the disruptor, rebel and awakener. Squares are challenging aspects that bring tension and pressure. This New Moon is also connected with Uranus, but in a harmonious sextile, bringing ease and support by focusing on the potential and possibilities of this evolutionary shift rather than on the destructive part of liberation. Uranus is connected to sudden awakening, so if you experience any sudden insights, if ideas strike you like lightning, or an aha moment changes your perspective, listen and follow that.

Additional background energies shaping this New Moon: the recent Saturn-Neptune conjunction from the first degree of Aries is still extremely active in the collective field. Mars forms a harmonious aspect to Uranus from the cosmic gap, the sacred space of creation on the last degree of the Zodiac, where end and beginning blend into each other and hold endless possibilities.

What a contrast from their tense square aspect on 28 February, which marked the start of the Iran war. I guess the leaders of the world didn't read the New Moon News, where I wrote this:

"The square from Mars to Uranus brings rebellious, disruptive energy in its purest form. Mars representing our will and ego, Uranus the rebel itself. This is a perfect day to practice mindfulness, to slow down, and breathe before we act (maybe even breathe before we think, haha). When we're not present and calm, the overcharge of energy and drive can easily cause accidents, angry outbursts, or recklessness."

Today, the connection is different: The same archetypal forces are present, but the cosmic tension is replaced with an opportunity for awareness, innovation and conscious action. Instead of explosive confrontation, this harmonious aspect asks us to channel our pioneering spirit into creative breakthroughs and compassionate liberation.

May this day remind us that even in the midst of destruction, we can choose creation. In the face of fear, we can choose love.

Side Note: Astrology does not cause wars or crises, but it describes the atmosphere in which human decisions unfold. In Aries, Mars expresses its purest qualities: courage, initiative, instinct and raw life force. Motivation rises dramatically. People feel the urge to act, lead and move forward.
