Scorpio New Moon November 2026
Cosmic Energies, Dates & Guidance

A new moon happens when the Sun and the Moon come together at the same degree of a sign. Looking up from Earth, they appear in the same spot. This conjunction sets the tone for the entire lunar cycle ahead.
This month we dive into the mysterious waters of Scorpio to descend into our emotional depths, confront the hidden and taboo, and purge what's no longer aligned. It is a time for intense introspection and transformation, crowned with a full moon that will illuminate the truths we have uncovered.
New Moon - Starting Point
09 November 2026
17° Scorpio, 14:02 ICT Cambodia Time
Scorpio energy always demands depth. It's here to dig up what's hidden, suppressed, or taboo. Rather than pushing forward with external ambition, we are being asked to re-evaluate our desires, confront our past actions, and understand the karmic patterns that have been driving us. It's a time to question the source of our drive and make sure our will is aligned with our soul's true purpose, not just our ego's satisfaction.
With six planets in retrograde (Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Chiron, Venus and Mercury), and the two personal "extrovert" planets, Mars and Jupiter, on the South Node, our mission now is to turn our eyes inward, reflect, and face our shadow. The universe creates these retrograde phases so we can take a little breather from all the forward-moving action to reflect, adjust, and integrate the lessons and achievements before moving on. The cyclical nature of the cosmos is never linear, there are always phases of rest and contemplation.
With the personal planets Mercury (our mind) and Venus (our values and relationships) both retrograde until the middle of the month, this is a fantastic time to reflect on our relationships, our values, and how we communicate with others and ourselves.
Mercury in Scorpio close to the New Moon is a truth seeker. He doesn't accept shallow answers, and digs until he gets to the root, even if it's painful. He asks the uncomfortable questions, and he gets backed up by Lilith in Capricorn. Together they challenge outworn structures around power, authority and personal ambition.
Venus in Libra wants harmony, peace and connection. She has been dancing with Chiron, the wounded healer, also retrograde, in a challenging opposition since September, asking us to look at our relationships:
Where do we create false harmony because we're too afraid to stand up for ourselves?
Where do we please others and forget about our own needs?
Who keeps us from living in full authenticity?
This is a wonderful time to heal old wounds around self-worth, assertiveness, and to courageously, lovingly choose truth over convenience in all partnerships.
Venus also recently turned from evening star to morning star: For the last 10 months, she appeared in the evening sky after sunset. On 24 October, Venus and the Sun came together for a conjunction in Scorpio, and now she is visible in the morning before sunrise. From the Earth, it looks like the Sun swallowed Venus and then spat her out on the other side. This represents a death & rebirth process and great transmutation of our values, our resources, and of course, our relationships.
This can also be observed in the collective, as the stock exchanges, and crypto markets have crashed, and questions of who holds power and control (Scorpio) over the financial markets in the world become louder. Let's see if this inspires a new step towards decentralization. Especially since Venus is building a harmonious aspect to the lunar node axis and offers the medicine for the tension there:
Mars (drive, action taking, anger) and Jupiter (expansion) on the Leo South Node (our karmic past) are showing us old patterns and paradigms that are no longer needed. They shine light on where we operate from our ego and not from our soul. So if you feel triggered by something, instead of attacking or blaming others, take a few breaths and ask yourself if your conception of success, glory, leadership is still valid, or conditioning that does not represent your truth.
Because what's happening on the South Node represents our past and wants to be released. It's the North Node in opposition that points towards our destiny, what we're here to learn, and where we want to grow. And the North Node is now moving through the sign of Aquarius, where not one ruler decides, but the many. It's the sign of grassroots-up movements, of community, of team spirit and power to the people.
The current protests all across the globe might have different topics, motifs and outcomes, but the core theme is the same: the young generation standing up for a better future, marching against patriarchal constructs that serve corporate elites rather than the greater whole, and for their right to co-create a world aligned with their values.
So if we manage to channel the tremendous energy that Mars and Jupiter bring on the Leo South Node into noble service of something greater rather than achieving ego-driven goals for our own glory, then this lunar cycle can be a big stepping stone towards a future of equality, togetherness, and heart-centered sovereignty.
Practical tips:
Reflect, turn inward, and question all your belief systems
Spend time in nature to remember the cyclical architecture of the universe
Stop trying to convince people of your opinion. Allow both ends of the spectrum to be.
Journaling questions:
What are my biggest fears?
When and how am I still shrinking myself to make others feel comfortable?
What is my mission in this life? (This is the most important one!)
Key Dates of the month ahead
13 November 2026
Mercury turns direct, 5° Scorpio
After its retrograde journey through the deep waters of Scorpio, Mercury now moves forward again until 10 February 2027. Our channels become clearer, communication gets a little easier, and if we were brave enough to go inward, the messages we received during the retrograde period can now be acted upon as we move forward.
14 November 2026
Venus turns direct, 23° Libra
The relationship reflection with Venus moving backwards through her own sign Libra is over, however the opposition to Chiron is still ongoing, so if old wounds or conflict in your relationship keep showing up, don't blame Venus, but be radically honest with yourself about how much of yourself you sacrifice for Love.
16 November 2026
Mars conjunct Jupiter conjunct South Node, 25° Leo
This is the day the South Node story gets loud. Mars, our drive, and Jupiter, our expansion, meet exactly on the karmic past we are releasing, and in Leo, the sign of glory and applause, this energy wants to be seen at all costs.
Watch where and how the impulse to prove, dominate or be right at any cost, shows up in your own life. This is your single biggest checkpoint of the month. If you feel your ego inflating or wanting to fight, pause and redirect that heat into something that serves more than your own spotlight: mentor someone, create without needing credit, lead where nobody is watching. The same fire that feeds the ego can fuel the collective. Choose which one you are feeding, because on this day the choice is unusually clear.
This is why we started this lunar cycle with the question of your mission. The clearer you are on how you serve, the less this fiery aspect can knock you off course.
22 November 2026
Sun enters Sagittarius, 14:23 ICT Cambodia Time
The Sun leaves the mysterious Scorpio and steps into the optimistic, bright and adventurous Sagittarius. We shift from the underground waters to the horizon line, focusing on the light rather than the shadow, seeking truth, expansion, and meaning. This is the time to speak our truth, to travel (even within), to challenge existing belief systems or explore new ones.
24 November 2026
Full Moon 02° Gemini, 21:53 ICT Cambodia Time

The peak of this lunar cycle is a full moon on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis. The moon comes in conjunction with Uranus, the rebel and breaker of chains, adding sudden plot twists and surprises to the already twitchy Gemini energy. The mantra for these days could be: Expect the unexpected.
Gemini is the sign of education, so it will be interesting to observe how the Gen Z protests across Europe are going to evolve around this time. In mundane Astrology, the moon represents the people, while the sun represents the government. During the full moon, both are in direct opposition to each other, and the disruptor Uranus adds a lot of electrically charged, awakening energy to this tension.
The good news is that Pluto and Neptune, the other 2 collective planets next to Uranus, are also involved in this full moon, both in very harmonious aspects. This means that whatever happens on the global stage boosts the social transformation that's happening long-term on a bigger scale. So major breakthroughs in terms of education, media, technology and telecommunications, travel & transportation (with Uranus aviation & outer space), are likely to happen.
On a personal level, we can experience unexpected revelations, sudden insights, brilliant aha-moments, genius ideas, and the need to break free from what feels restrictive. Allow these revolutionary energies to show you where you want to liberate yourself, educate yourself, or whatever kind of change is needed, without impulsively burning everything to the ground. Try to observe, take notes, and get clarity first. In a few days, Mars will enter Virgo and support us in taking aligned action rather than blowing things up in a rush.
Full Moon journaling questions:
Where am I feeling restriction?
What knowledge is outdated and not my truth anymore?
What would my future Self tell me today?
26 November 2026
Mars enters Virgo
The planet of drive, action and energy moves from the passionate fires of Leo into the practical Virgo. Precision over impulse is the main principle here. Mars' warrior energy focuses on analytical micromanagement and structural efficiency of our daily rhythm, routines and physical bodies. Mars here is fantastic at recognizing what's not working: diet, duty, practices, and procedures. And of course whatever the full moon brought up for you that wants to be changed. The mastery here is to discern objectively without getting caught up in perfectionism.
04 December 2026
Venus enters Scorpio
Love and values dive into the sign of depth, secrecy, and soul-merging. Venus in Scorpio is not about folded laundry or gentle care, she is about raw passion, sexual transformation, and the urge to consume and be consumed by another. Her intensity can forge unbreakable bonds or stir jealousy and possessiveness, so if you find yourself gripping too tightly, ask whether your passion is healing you or feeding a fear of losing what you love.
06 December 2026
Mercury enters Sagittarius
Our mind moves from deep, murky waters of Scorpio into broader horizon Sagittarius. Still seeking truth, but through expanding our wisdom and questioning belief systems. We have faced our shadow in Scorpio, now we’re ready to release the inner detective and step into philosopher and explorer mode. Time to see the whole forest, not just the trees.
Closing Reflections
As we navigate these penetrating times, remember that the intensity of Scorpio is not meant to break us, but to remake us. This is an incredibly potent opportunity to release old attachments, heal past wounds, and emerge with a more authentic and sovereign sense of self.
