Taurus New Moon Channeling

This month's channeling was very different. Technically it was not a Trance channeling at all, but an unexpected conversation. It was the kind of conversation that feels out of this world and super real at the same time. The kind of conversation that feels like the universe, God, Source itself is speaking directly to you through a stranger. In my case, the stranger showed up at my garden door right as I was getting ready for this Taurus New Moon Trance Channeling.

I am in New Zealand at the moment in a very quiet, very small beachside town, taking care of a beautiful dog. So as I was preparing for the Channeling, the dog barked and ran to the garden gate, where an elderly man with walking sticks was passing by. We looked at each other and started the usual small talk that I find so cute here. (Everybody is always friendly and kind.) But after 2 sentences about the weather, we dove straight into one of the deepest, most spiritual conversations of my life.

Dermot told me how he was hitchhiking from the UK to South America in 1969, but ended up in New Zealand, because "as it is with the hitchhiking - when you get a ride, you stay on it, and in my case, all my rides took me East", he said. So instead of crossing the Atlantic, his journey took him through Europe (he even stayed 3 days in my hometown Innsbruck), Turkey, Iran, India, Australia, and eventually to Wellington. I said that this is so much more than a hitchhiking story. This is a story about surrendering. He agreed and added "and how eventually everything always turns out alright".

Then he asked me a question that I am going to pass on to you: "Define Love." Before you read on, take a moment and try to define with your own words what Love is. Does it come easy for you? Or is it difficult?

While I said to Dermot that for me, Love is the source of everything, the highest frequency, that it's everywhere and our very essence, he nodded and added "It's everywhere, but also, Love is a decision." And this is the message of this month's channeling. This lovely old man came along to remind us that Love is a decision. We can choose Love every day, at any moment. It might not always be the easiest option. It might take all our courage, it might be a great act of rebellion. But it's always worth it.

May we all choose Love, again and again.
