New Moon Trance Channeling

ree

For the upcoming lunar cycle, I ask to channel a being with a loving, supportive message for the readers of my new moon newsletter.

A room appears in front of me with a big, open fireplace. The fire is crackling and cozy. The walls are bookshelves filled to the ceiling, and in front of the fire, there are two oldschool leather wingchairs facing each other and the fire. It smells like comfort, old books and cinnamon.

In one of the chairs sits a woman, with an open, kind smile. A smile that also says she doesn’t take any bullshit. A natural authority, beautiful and determined, compassionate and sovereign.

She invites me to sit down in the other chair. I ask her, “who are you?” but while I am asking the question, I know the answer already.

The woman in front of me is the Goddess Persephone. This is her message:

“I am the light and the dark. As are you."

I was not forced into the underworld. I went there consciously. I CHOSE to go down the rabbit hole. The rabbit hole that led me into my own depths. My own shadows. Into my own soul. I refused to be either this or that. I embodied my whole. Light and dark.

And so should you.

It is time to step up for yourself and reclaim your right to rest. Reclaim your right to stillness. Because it is in the stillness, in the quietness, in the darkness that you create new life, new visions, new ideas, new connections, new habits.

This black moon is a very important turning point for all of you. Even the sun disappears, all for you, so that your eyes can gently adapt to the darkness. It’s time to shift your focus from the outside inwards and to explore your own depth.

Nature is doing the same. We are now all starting our journey into ourselves. This journey is necessary, so that we can bloom, blossom, sprout and grow again in spring. You are not meant to be in the light 24/7. You need the darkness, too. You need to slow down. You need the stillness.

So explore yourself consciously. With love. And you will be surprised by your own depths.

I chose the pomegranate seeds to connect me with the frequency of my own shadows. For you, it might be something different. Your soul’s frequency is different from mine, from your partners, from your friends.

So find what you need for your descent inwards. This might be a fire, food, a certain tea, sound, a bath, don’t let anyone tell you what you need for your journey because it is yours and no one else's.

"Do not blindly eat what others serve you, for every digestion is different."

And just to be clear my dears, I am not talking about food anymore. I am talking about all the information you consume mindlessly every day on your phones.

If you read a book, you choose to dive into this topic. If you watch a movie, you are interested in that kind of genre and choose to watch it. If you scroll, you consume without any filter at all. You consume what everybody else feeds you, unaware of whether you are able to digest it.

So be more conscious of what you let your body, mind and soul consume.

The rhythm is always the same. You breathe in and expand. Then you breathe out to release. And just as your evergoing breath - in and out, in and out - life unfolds in the same rhythm.

You grow, then you pause to integrate. The Earth is doing the same thing as this lunar cycle begins. So whenever you feel overwhelmed, focus on your breathing. In and out. This is all the wisdom you need.”

Reflections on Persephone's message:

Persephone invites us to

  • Embrace our shadows: Growth requires acknowledging both light and dark within.

  • Prioritize rest: Stillness is where new life, ideas, and visions are born.

  • Conscious consumption: Let’s be more intentional with what we allow into our mind and spirit.

  • Trust our rhythm: Like breath and seasons, life expands and contracts. Let’s honor our natural cycles.

In Greek mythology, Persephone is known as the daughter of Demeter, goddess of the harvest. In the classic myth, Hades kidnaps her into the Underworld. Her mother grieves so deeply that the Earth becomes barren, so Zeus orders Hades to release Persephone.

Before she returns, he gives her pomegranate seeds, and because everyone who eats in the underworld must return, she becomes bound to spend part of the year in the Underworld. This story was used to explain the seasons: her return brings spring and summer, and her descent marks autumn and winter.

Her message today however was very clear and eye-opening: Persephone was no victim. She consciously ate the pomegranate seeds as an act of initiation to become a sovereign guide between the worlds.

This lunar cycle asks us to honor this descent. To accept the darkness as a creative, fertile space. Just as Persephone brings back life from the underworld each spring, so too can we emerge renewed, if we first allow ourselves to go within.

Here are some journaling prompts to inspire your descent into yourself:

  • Where in my life am I being asked to slow down or rest?

  • What “noise” am I ready to filter out, so my soul can breathe again? (news, social media, conversations,...)

  • What am I most afraid of discovering in my own depths?

  • How can I make the darkness more welcoming (rituals, music, comfort items)?

  • Which parts of myself are ready to be reborn when the light returns?

With love,

Sissi
